I opened VERA six months before shelter in place. Your support as we navigated a public health crisis has been overwhelming. Thank you for helping us keep our doors open.
Then the streets erupted with a revolution to address the very intentional marginalizing of Black lives. I started VERA because I want beauty and wellness to be accessible and empowering. Wellness is not just about clearing your pores but about healing our deeper wounds. Our wellbeing is informed by our history and the trauma we’ve experienced.
It’s going to take hard personal, community, and national work for things to change in our nation. And I will continue to chip away at it in every way I can.
